Creating and Using Digital Membership Cards
Digital membership cards can be created as a less expensive alternative to physical cards. The digital cards can be accessed through a customer’s account on both the management and public sides of the software. The card has a barcode which can be scanned for facility access and saved as a photo to the customer’s personal device, so they do not need to log in to their MyRec.com account each time they need to access their digital card.
In order to attach a digital membership card to a membership, an administrator level user must first have created a Digital Card Template in the settings section of the Administration dropdown menu.
**Please note that not all scanners can read a barcode from an electronic screen. Please refer to our Equipment Guide linked below this video for recommended scanning devices that work on both physical and digital cards.
