Pausing a membership allows the management side user to place a membership in a paused status for an indefinite period of time. While in this status, the membership is unusable, however it also does not have an expiration date.
Once unpaused, the function will calculate how long this membership was paused and apply that many more days onto the original expiration date. Effectively, this will extend the membership for as long as it was put on pause.
