Rental Info Tab
Settings to allow for facility reservations and availability can be found on the facility's Rental Info tab. To find this tab, Open the Facilities drop down menu on the left hand side navigation of the management screen. Click View/Search Facilities and search for the correct facility. Select the facility and then Navigate to the Facility Info tab. To begin adding Rental Information, click Edit Rental Info.
The first step is to check the Allow Rental box to enable the reservation ability. Once selected, additional checkboxes will appear.
Setting up the facility for Reservations:
To allow your members to make reservations for facility rentals on the public side, check the Allow Public Reservation box. This means members of the public will pick their dates and process payment on the public side without any involvement from a member of your department.
Setting up the facility for Requests:
To allow your members to make reservation requests for facilities on the public side, check the Allow Public Requests box.
Using requests means the public will not submit payment for the dates they wish to book. Instead, they will pick their dates and complete any questions or disclaimers associated with the facility and then submit their request for a member of your staff to approve or deny. If approved, a balance due can be created on their MyRec.com Account for them to process payment.
